Lesson 316: All gifts I give my brothers are my own.

When you go home to your worldly abode, are you always greeted with warmth and appreciation? Do you always feel welcomed and loved and free and happy?

In this lesson Jesus talks about the “treasure house” where “angels watch its open doors that not one gift is lost, and only more are added.” He asks you to enter this treasure house where you are truly welcome and at home among the gifts that God has given you. He tells you that every gift you have ever given a brother is in this treasure house, kept for you and watched by angels for you.

Jesus is not talking about worldly gifts. He is referring to gifts of love, forgiveness, appreciation, acceptance and compassion. And he is not talking about a worldly house, but a heavenly house. Do you perceive your heavenly house as full? Are you ready to add more gifts to it by forgiving your brothers for not performing exactly as you would have them do, for not saying exactly what you would have them say, and for not being the exact person you would have ordered?

This treasure house is in your mind, therefore it is reachable anytime simply by choosing to enter. Bring another gift with you as you come through its hallowed doors. All gifts of love are welcome.

Lesson 317: I follow in the way appointed me.

You have a special place to fill; a role for you alone. Salvation waits until you take this part as what you choose to do. Until you make this choice, you are the slave of time and human destiny.

What “way” have you been choosing in this world? Is it the way of understanding, appreciation, love -- the way of forgiveness? Is it the way of God as guided by the Holy Spirit and taught by Jesus? Is it the way of being truly helpful, of being content to be wherever He wills, knowing He goes there with you? Is it the way of happiness and joy and peace? Is this the “way” you have been choosing to live?

When you have made the choice to live His Way, you will recognize that salvation is already here!

Lesson 318: In me salvation’s means and end are one.

In you, God’s holy Son, are reconciled all parts of Heaven’s plan to save the world. What could conflict when all the parts have but one purpose and one aim – salvation? Jesus says you are the means by which God’s Son is saved, because salvation’s purpose is to find the sinlessness that God has placed in you. YOU were created as the thing you seek. YOU are the goal for which the world is searching.

Does this sound arrogant? Think about it a minute. You know that the world is not real, that it is a reflection of the projections in your mind and as such the world is a mirror. So to look for your salvation in the world is tantamount to looking for your salvation IN A MIRROR! You know a mirror has only images, that nothing you see in a mirror is real. So how can you find yourself in a mirror? You cannot find yourself in a reflection!

To find yourself, then, you must look within. And when you have found your Self, then the world will have its answer as to where the truth is. And it will reflect only the truth then. Still, it is only a reflection, but it will be a reflection of the true Self and not the ego self. It will be a reflection of God’s Son, His one eternal Love. How precious you are . . .how holy, how pure, how lovely and loving. In you salvation’s means and end are one. Therefore YOU ARE what the world is looking for. The world is looking for the truth to reflect, and the altar to God and the Son that is within you IS that truth!

Lesson 319: I came for the salvation of the world.

You are here to save the world. This, too, may sound arrogant at first. But if you remember that was Jesus’ purpose here, and that he is your brother, then it makes sense that it would be your purpose as well. He is our teacher, after all, and our model for our behavior. As you allow your thinking to be transformed, you will awaken to the idea that you are an extension of God, an extension of light, here to awaken all your brothers, along with yourself.

The ego’s purpose is quite different. Its purpose is to keep the truth hidden from you, to find a place where God cannot enter, a place for you to hide from God and eventually to die, thus proving that God is not real. Its purpose is to keep you in forgetfulness, to keep you asleep and not awakening. In this, it is safe from extinction, and will be here to plague you yet another day.

So be very careful when you choose your guide. Choose the Holy Spirit and end the ego’s reign of terror. You came for the salvation of the world. So save it, and you can go home!

Lesson 320: My Father gives all power unto me.

Jesus is your brother. As all power is given unto him, then as an equal Son of the Father, all power is thus also give to you. In paragraph 5, sentence 1, of the section entitled “10. What is the Last Judgement?” -- it is written: “You are still My holy Son . . . as limitless as your Creator.” And in paragraph 2, sentence 2 of the section entitled "11. What is Creation?" -- it is written: "Thus His Son shares in creation, and must therefore share in power to create."

Jesus says there are no limits on your strength, your peace, your joy, nor any attributes your Father gave in your creation. What you will with the Creator, therefore, MUST BE DONE. Your holy will can never be denied! All this is given to YOU, holy Son of God. There is no limit on His Will, and therefore there is no limit on your will when joined with His.

Then why, oh why, do you still choose to experience turmoil, chaos, perplexity and unhappiness? It is quite clear from the above that it is not necessary nor is it desirable to be apart from God power, even if the desire is only an illusion. Therefore, do not let the ego have any sway upon your life ever again. Choose to awaken in the power and glory of God -- and LIVE.

Theme of Special Relevance 11: What is Creation?

Creation is the sum of all God's Thoughts, in number infinite, and everywhere without all limit. Only Love creates, and only like Itself. Forever and forever are God's Thoughts exactly as they were and as they are, unchanged through time and after time is done. Creation is the opposite of all illusions, for creation is the truth. Let this memory return, let God's Will be done on earth, let yourself be restored to sanity. Be still and let creation be as it is. Creation is the holy Son of God.

Lesson 321: Father, my freedom is in You alone.

Having forgotten what freedom was, you have looked for it where it could not be found. It cannot be found in the world as you see it. Freedom is being who you really are and being ALL that you are. And what are you? You are LOVE; therefore teach and offer only love, because that is where your freedom lies. Remember, you have the same name as God. His name is Love and so is yours!

Lesson 322: I can give up but what was never real.

Nothing real can be threatened. Nothing unreal exists. Herein lies the peace of God.

God asks only for the “sacrifice” of what was never real. He asks you to give up fear and loss, and fear of loss. As you give up illusions in this world, what you will find in their place is what they have attempted to hide from you for all these thousands of years. You will find your true Self, shining in all its glory, waiting for you to remember. Every illusion serves only to conceal the Self Which is God’s only Son, the likeness of Himself Who still abides in Him forever, as He still abides in you.
