Lesson 260: Let me remember God created me.

You did not create yourself, though in your insanity you may think you did. What is there in you that could possibly have created the Love that you are? God IS. God is in you. God created you, and you remain as God created you – perfect, whole and complete. Nothing can assail your perfection, and nothing can change who you are in truth.

If you are not seeing yourself as God’s creation, as perfection, then you have let your mind descend into the realm of the ego, and the ego knows nothing because it is nothing. Thus, what is needed here is to rise once again to the Christ mind, to remain there with the Holy Spirit, to see things as He sees them, and to remember as He does. With Him, your Source is remembered and you know your true Identity. You are created in His Image of Love and Light. Now do you remember?

Theme of Relevance 5: What is the body?

The body serves as a “fence” that the Son of God, in his ego-deluded state, imagines he has built. It is within this body fence that you think you live, to die as it decays and crumbles (because it is not upheld by the truth). Within this fence you think that you are safe from love, which is appearing as a threat to you. This is because you do not understand what God’s Love really is. If you did, you would not want to hide from It a minute longer, and would certainly not want to protect yourself from It. You identify with the body because you think it makes you safe. Yet the body is not your safety – God IS.

The body is part of the dream and is born of fear, as is every dream. Like other parts of the dream, the body sometimes seems to picture happiness, but as your thoughts change, the body can quite suddenly revert to picturing fear. The body changes as the mind that uses it changes. The body was erroneously made to protect you, but being honest, it is hardly a protection at all. If you are fearful, the body will reflect the fear. What kind of protection is that? The body must serve the purpose given it, but the purpose can be changed simply by changing what we think the use of the body is for.

Given to the Holy Spirit for His purpose, the body now becomes the means by which God’s Son returns to sanity. Now the Son of God extends his hand to reach his brother, not to deflect or defeat him. He helps his brother walk along the road with him, sharing that safety is in truth and joining, not prevarication and separation. God’s Love is your safety. Identify with Him and you are home. Identify with Love, and find your Self.

Lesson 261: God is my refuge and security.

You will identify with what you think is refuge and security. If you are thinking it can be found in the body, you are gravely mistaken. Look at the body. Can it protect you? Does it have the strength to withstand onslaught? Even Goliath with his so-called mighty stature was not safe from David who could barely lift Goliath’s sword! Does your body help you to feel impregnable? You know it does not. So, do not seek for safety where it cannot be found. Instead, remember God is your refuge and your strength. In Him is your Identity and everlasting peace. Only in Him will you remember who you really are. The Holy Spirit will help you find your Self -- perfect, whole and complete. Look to Him.

Lesson 262: Let me perceive no differences today.

Why do you continue to perceive thousands of forms in what is really only one? Why is God’s Son given thousands of names, when only one will suffice? God’s Son is One, with One Name – God’s Name. The Name of God is your inheritance – remember that lesson? No longer see your brother as his body and as a stranger to you. Begin seeing him as your brother and eternally the Son of God as you are. See his holiness, the light, the love, the unity – not the separation. Begin seeing him truly, and see yourself truly also.

Lesson 263: My holy vision sees all things as pure.

God’s Mind created all that is. His Spirit entered into every creation; His Love gave life to each one. Therefore, if you see anything but His Spirit and His Love – anywhere – you are not seeing truly. Yes, you can choose to see things as dark and fearful as in a madman’s dream, or conversely you can choose to see things as beautiful and filled with light which is a much saner choice. Seeing darkness curses His creation; seeing loveliness and gentleness blesses His creation.

While you still remain outside the gate of Heaven, you can still look on all things through Christ’s vision. You can still see all things as pure and holy as God Himself. Pass by all appearances that do not appear pure to you, and walk home together in innocence as brothers and holy Sons of God.

Lesson 264: I am surrounded by the Love of God.

Father, You stand before me and behind, beside me, in the place I see myself, and everywhere I go. You are in all the things I look upon, the sounds I hear, and every hand that reaches for my own. In You time disappears, and place becomes a meaningless belief. For what surrounds Your Son and keeps him safe is Love Itself. There is no Source but This, and nothing is that does not share Its holiness; that stands beyond Your one creation, or without the Love Which holds all things within Itself. Father, Your Son is like Yourself. We come to you in Your Own Name today, to be at peace within Your everlasting Love. Amen.

This is salvation’s prayer. There is NOTHING that does not share the Holiness of God! See It first, and there will be no desire to see anything else. What you choose to see is up to you. Choose wisely.

Lesson 265: Creation’s gentleness is all I see.

How can you possibly understand the world, as long as you are projecting your misunderstandings upon it, and failing to see what is really there? Whatever you project onto the world will merely be reflected back to you. Therefore, is it wise, then, to project/extend only love and truth, kindness and peace onto the world, and thus see only that reflected back to you? It has been said before and it will be said again: what you project upon the world is what you see! Only the insane would think that projecting something from the mind onto the world would rid the mind of it. Ideas do not leave their source. It is as though they are connected to a rubberband. When you send them out, they come bouncing back with even more momentum. The world is not your personal trash bin. What you project onto it will come back, in just the form you need to learn that projection is not the answer.

The Holy Spirit is The Answer. Give all your thoughts to Him for clarification and for purification. Leave the world out of the equation. It cannot but reflect your problems and fears back to you, like some magical mirror. The Holy Spirit can help you, guide you, love you, and bring you home. The world will only keep you going around and around in circles until you realize that there is no world. It is only a reflection, a mirror, a mirage, an illusion. It is not real; but you are real. Let the Holy Spirit show you who and what you really are, and then you will have no more need of projection, for there will be nothing to expel from your mind. You will only want to share creation’s gentleness with those who have not remembered who they are. You will only want to share the truth, and that is not to be found in the world. There is no truth in the world, only reflections. Let the world go, and come home to truth.

Lesson 266: My holy Self abides in you, God’s Son.
