Lesson 106: Let me be still and listen to the truth.

Listen and hear your Father speak to you through His appointed Voice, Which silences the thunder of the meaningless, and shows the way to peace to those who cannot see. Do not be afraid to circumvent or ignore the voices of the world. The ego offers you nothing that you want. And yet it calls loudly to you, offering what it has made you believe that you want. What you want is salvation, to be free of the meaningless and to bask in the love of God. This the ego cannot give you. But God’s Voice speaks to you of the meaningful. He comes with miracles a thousand times as happy and as wonderful as those you ever dreamed or wished for in your dreams. Be still and listen to the truth. For each five minutes spent in listening, a thousand minds are opened to the truth along with you.

Let me be still and listen to the truth.

I am the messenger of God today.

My voice is His, to give what I receive.

Lesson 107: Truth will correct all errors in my mind.

Only truth can correct illusions. And what are errors but illusions that have not yet been brought to the light of truth. Error hides in the darkness, and is the substance of it. As the truth enters your mind, the error disappears because it is no longer believed. And without belief, errors have no life. Without errors there is no fear, no doubt, no attack. When truth has come to fill your mind, there will be no room in it for transitory thoughts and dead ideas to linger.

Truth does not hide, but remains obvious to all those who would see it. Can you imagine what a state of mind without illusions might be like? The finite mind cannot even come close. Do not doubt that you walk with truth today, and let Him lead you gently to it. Let it envelop you and give you peace so deep and tranquil that you will return to the familiar world reluctantly. And yet you will take with you the promise of the changes which the truth will carry to the world.

Lesson 108: To give and to receive are one in truth.

Vision depends upon today’s idea. The light is in it because it reconciles all seeming opposites. Even giving and receiving are perceived as opposites until they are given over to the truth. They are actually the same because both occur together, so that the Thought of giving and receiving remains complete. And this understanding is the base on which all opposites are reconciled, because they are perceived from the same frame of reference which unifies this Thought. True light that makes true vision possible is not the light the body’s eyes behold. It is a state of mind that has become so unified that darkness cannot be perceived at all. This is the light that heals because it brings single perception, based upon one frame of reference, from which one meaning comes. Here are both giving and receiving seen as different aspects of one Thought where the truth does not depend on which is seen as first, nor which appears to be in second place.

The generalization of this lesson is that cause and effect are one and the same IN TRUTH. You think of cause and effect in a linear fashion, as if what you do today will have an impact on you tomorrow and in the future. In fact, there is no time delay at all. Your thoughts of attack have its impact on you now, just as your thoughts which offer peace immediately bring you peace. In reality, there is nothing outside your mind. The world you see is just your thoughts given form. These thoughts have never left your mind. Nothing but these thoughts exist and only the thoughts you think with God are truly real.

Lesson 109: I rest in God.

Incredible power is ascribed to your practice of this idea, not only for you, but for everyone. This idea has the power to call every mind to rest along with you, including those who came in the past or who are yet to be born. This is what you came into the world to do. This is your trust, your sacred mission, your reason for being. This thought will carry you through storms and strife, and onward to the certainty of God. There is no suffering it cannot heal, no problem it cannot solve. There is no appearance but will turn to truth before the eyes of you who rest in God.

This idea is capable of removing all confusion and indecision, all antagonism, all scarcity, disharmony, hatred, envy, jealousy and strife, bitterness, sickness, sorrow and pain, loss and despair, depression and death. This is the thought in which the Son of God is born again, to recognize himself, forgetting no one, bringing everyone into the boundless circle of peace, the holy sanctuary where you rest. Open the temple doors and let them come from far across the world, and near as well; your distant brothers and your closest friends; bid them all enter here and rest with you.

Lesson 110: I am as God created me.

This one thought is enough to save not only yourself, but the world, when you welcome it as true. Nothing you have done has changed anything. Ego thoughts have done nothing, and nothing that is not of God has occurred. The tiny, mad idea to replace God has not happened. You are still perfect and innocent, shining in the light of the glory of God.

You tend to see the ravages of time: the aging body, decay, loss, loved ones who come and go. But time can be used by the Holy Spirit to help you escape the idea of time and all its changes. Learn to look beyond the appearances that time and change are real, and look only on the everlasting. In this one thought is all the past undone; the present saved to quietly extend into a timeless future.

I am as God created me.

His Son can suffer nothing.

And I am His Son.

There is no separation, no split, no insanity. Within you is the Christ. You and your brothers are This. Simply become aware of any thought that says anything different, any picture of yourself that makes a false and limited idol, and drop that thought into the Hands of God.

Lesson 111: Review of Lessons 91 and 92

(91) Miracles are seen in light. You cannot see in darkness – period. As you allow all thoughts of darkness to be lifted from your mind, the light will shine and you will see the innocence within you and your brothers. Your perception will then be so cleansed and pure that happiness will be the inevitable result. Your life will be so lifted up, that you will not even remember the dark that never was. This is God’s Promise to you. Trust in it, and trust in Him.

(92) Miracles are seen in light, and light and strength are one. You see through the strength of God, His gift to you. His gift will dispel all darkness in your mind by giving you His light, His strength to take its place. Welcome this gift, and end all your sorrow.

Lesson 112: Review Of Lessons 93 and 94.

(93) Light and joy and peace abide in me. You are the home of light and joy and peace. You share this home with God, and there is no darkness, sorrow or insanity in Heaven. Rejoice in this.
